    I have been making Venison Jerky for over fifty years using seasoning mixes of my own making or pre-packaged seasonings. About twenty years ago I started using Con Yeager Appalachian Jerky seasoning, This mix is the best I have tasted either of jerky I have made or jerky others have offered. When take the jerky made with the Appalachian Jerky mix to gatherings no matter how much I take it is gone quickly, people rave about the taste. My hopes are that Con Yeager keeps making this mix until I'm gone. Keep up the good work.

    Loved It! Not too spicy, not sweet. More a traditional flavor of jerky! Would love to see the breakdown to do in smaller batches rather than the 15 pounds it gives. But after a little math, we broke it down to 2 pound batches and love it!

    This is the best Jerky mix I have ever used. Just did 15 lbs of Elk and Venison. The mix is very flavorful without being too salty. Recommended by retired Pittsburgh butcher.

    Best jerky season you can buy hands down. I only use 7 to 8 pounds instead of whatever the directions say I think 12 or 15. Add 2 ounces liquid smoke and 2 pitchers of water and let soak for 2 days. Hang on toothpicks in oven on 150 for 6. People ask me every year for it and what to pay me to make it it's that good

    my favorite jerky mix. it's the only one I buy now. the only improvement would be if the curing agent came with it.

    My friend told me to try this Appalachian jerky mix so I thought I would. I came to find out it's the best I've used yet. My sisters and my nieces go crazy after it. I have to hide it just so I can have some. Thanks for making such a good product and one day maybe 'll try something else and see how they like it.

    I was turned on to this product by some dear friends in Pennsylvania. I came home to Michigan and have bought this product every year since. I simply don't use anything else. I've actually had strangers come to my home after a friend of mine shared some with them, wanting to know if I'd be willing to sell some. Buy it, use it, and know that it's the best!
