Did my first Batch Yesterday, and turned out great!!I will be making my own for now on. it's not hard to do. just follow the instructions. takes a little time but we had fun drinking beer and working over the Christmas vacation.
I just finished this last night. I did not use any pork and it turned out great. I dont see the need to add the extra expence unless you already have some sitting in the freezer.
I neither like nor dislike the flavor. It definitely was not worth the effort of making them. Mixing and filling them took at least 4 hours, cooking took substantially longer than the directions indicated to get to proper internal temperature and I had to increase the temperature above what was recommended. I was also expecting a longer shelf life for a cured product.

I use snack stick kit to make snack sticks with goose. These are awesome and there is no game flavor. My daughter calls them "Goose Crack"
these turned out really good. they was alittle fatter then i like but i will use smaller casing next time no big deal. everyone really likes them.
This is the first that I used a kit from Con Yeager. I followed the recipe on the container and everything turned out great. Sharing at Christmas get togethers was a big hit.
